Welcome to the first issue of Power Source!

We appreciate your business over the years. As many of you already know, we are here for you, helping to keep your operations running at peak efficiency, with some adjustments to meet new safety protocols during the current pandemic.

While social distancing has had its challenges, it has also served as a good reminder of the importance of staying connected. Power Source is our way of keeping you up to date on the services we offer, technical and industry news and training opportunities. We hope you find this first issue valuable—we will be reaching out on a regular basis going forward.

Stay well,
Dave Howell, President

Introducing IEC University

What started as one-off customer training has become so popular that we’ve made it part of our regular service offerings.

“Professor” Scott DeLapp (Skeeter) has mastered the full range of technical skills that he has developed over forty years, on the job, in real-world situations. His expertise includes: the principles of AC/DC electric motors, machine control panels, drives, troubleshoooting of commercial and industrial rotating electrical equipment and OSHA/NFPA70E Arc Flash Safety & Compliance. Simply put, there are no schools that teach what Scott knows.

Class Topics include:

  • Electrical Safe Work Practices
  • Variable Frequency Drives
  • Arc Flash/NFPA70E Electrical Safety Training

Class Overview:

  • Class sizes are limited to 12, so everyone gets personal attention and hands-on time
  • Full day classes include continental breakfast and lunch
  • Students receive:
    • Class handbook to keep
    • Aptitude benchmarking at beginning and upon completion to demonstrate progress
    • Certificate of completion
    • Digital copies of tests for your records

Special Offers:

We will soon be offering in-person classes again, so watch out for special offers coming up.

Want Scott to come to you? Ask us about onsite training.

Here’s just a few things past students have to say:

“Best part of the class is the hands-on labs with the electrical panels.”
“Very detailed and easy to learn! An eye-opener on safety practices.”
“What I appreciated about Skeeter is his technical knowledge and real life work experience.”
